DESCRIPTION:Call for  Plein Air Artists from the \nWethersfield Art League\, and Newington Art League \nCoordinated by Lorraine Ficara  \nExhibit Dates:  January 2- January 29\, 2026 \nLucy Robbin Welles Library\,\nCommunity Room\, 100 Garfield Street\, Newington CT \nPeoples Choice Awards! \n$100 Jerry’s Artarama Gift Card \n$25 Community Room Café Gift Cert \nDrop off : January 2\, 2026\, 10a-12pm – or by appt. \nOpening reception: January 7\, 5:30pm-7:30pm\, please plan on attending! \nArtists are encouraged to bring an app or sweet for the reception. \nTake Down : January 29\, 4-6 pm. \nThis exhibit is open to artists in all 2D mediums whose work is created en Plein Air \nFeaturing the Plein Air pieces painted around Newington on June 21. \nAll work must have been created recently and mostly on site. Pieces should be suitably framed and wired for hanging.  Wrapped canvases are acceptable. Framed dimensions may not exceed 36 inches on longest side.  Work on paper must be under glass or Plexiglas. \nThe Library will accept a 10% commission on all sold items.
