The Wethersfield Art League Announces Spring 2026 Workshops
All workshops listed below are limited to the first 10 enrolled and paid. Fees are: $40 for art league members and $50 for the public. Checks may be made payable to “WAL” and mailed to 193 Wells Road, Wethersfield CT 06109. Needle Felting 2D Spring Bird March 28 10am-1pm
Natalie Bryant will be your instructor for needle felting your choice ofbird with wool on wool felt blend fabric you can use for a gift tag, garland or ornament. Spring is coming and who doesn’t love the sounds of an adorable, fluffy chirping bird ready to shake the snow away and lift your spirits for a new season. All supplies and tools for the project are included for use during this workshop. All levels welcome!
How to Paint a Unique Goat Portrait April 3 10am 1pm
Back by popular demand, join accomplished artist Sylvina Rollins as she guides you step-by-step to create an eye-catching impressionistic work of art. Bring an 8×10” panel or canvas and acrylic or oil paints along with a flat brush and others if you have them. All levels welcome – even beginners can relax and have fun without worries.
Everlasting Floral Hoop Wreath May 16 10am-1pm
Jesse Callaghan, owner of Evocative as Floral will offer a workshop to create your own everlasting floral wreath using dried flowers grown by Jesse in Wallingford, CT. Workshop includes instruction, 12” beaded hoop and 2 bunches of dried flowers. Paddle wire and snippers will be provided for use in the class.
