Pastel artist Susan Bosworth was the demonstrator at the Wethersfield Art League’s April monthly meeting. Susan’s subject matter, a bucolic donkey pasture minus the donkeys, emerged starting with a pastel underpainting followed by an application of rubbing alcohol which fixed the pigment on selected portions of the composition.
